Junior Sailors

The X Boat is a 16' junior boat and requires a skipper and crew. It has been sailed throughout the Inland for nearly 100 years. The X boat is the foundation of the CLYC sailing program which provides the basics of boat handling, boat speed, and race tactics within a comprehensive curriculum. (Recommended Age 7 – 15)

CLYC Membership (either Junior or Family) is required for X Boat Sailing School. All participants must be (i) be a skipper and have their own registered/rented boat or (ii) have a crew position for the summer to register for this class.
 

Weekday Classes: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12:00pm

Saturday Races: 10:00am & 1:00pm
