These are unprecedented times in our nation and world, affecting all of us in so many ways.  Now more than ever, we all are looking forward to the 2020 youth sailing season at CLYC!

As you know, CLYC’s board will be monitoring applicable state and local restrictions due to COVID-19 and will modify the club event calendar accordingly to protect the health of our members.  This applies to the youth sailing program as well – the sailing school committee has been and continues to work hard to prepare for a summer full of youth sailing.  We are also monitoring the recommendations relating to the COVID-19 pandemic and considering how they might affect our youth sailing program.  Given the fluidity of the situation, we are planning to communicate any changes to youth sailing programs via the CLYC website and encourage you to check there for updates and information regarding the season.

We remain hopeful that the pandemic will be under control soon, and we are expecting to have another great season – we will all need it after this!
